I would like to briefly quote Deepak Chopra today for the quote of the day. Practicing meditation for a while together with Karate I was sometimes tempted to define meditation as a way to be more calm, to manage my energy, to refocus on the essential, here and now.
While this is not completely wrong, after some time of practice, I tend to define meditation in the same way than Deepak Chopra, especially in the context of our fast moving world.
It is not so much a question of forcing your mind to become quiet, but more to find the quiet that exist inside you.
This is just an interpretation, of course, and there can be others. Is it because I already practice meditation that for me it became a way to find my inner self and to come back to my personal quiet place to finally focus on what is essential here and now…maybe.

- What is meditation for you ?
- What can you do to make your practice of meditation more relevant and benefit from the effects of meditation after you practice it (and not just in the moment) ?
There are already many possible answers, it all depend from you but I am sure that you will find some improvement in your practice if you start by truly answering these two questions.
